About Bullock

Bullock Harbour — a small, picturesque fishing harbour tucked between Dalkey and Sandycove — gives this townland its identity and its charm. The harbour has been in use since medieval times when Cistercian monks from St Mary's Abbey operated a fishery here. Today the stone-walled harbour shelters a handful of boats, and the coastal path that passes through connects the area's period homes to the wider network of seaside walks along the DLR coastline.
