Ardagh Court

A townland in the hinterland between Stillorgan and Leopardstown, Galloping Green takes its evocative name from the open ground where horses once exercised — a fitting origin given the proximity to Leopardstown Racecourse. The area is now residential, with housing estates developed from the mid-twentieth century onwards. The N11 corridor and the Luas at Sandyford provide the main transport connections, while Stillorgan village serves daily shopping needs.
