New Park

The Newpark townland, centred around Newtownpark Avenue in the Blackrock area, takes its name from 'Newtown-in-the-Deer-Park' — the village built within the deer park belonging to Stillorgan House. Today the area is residential and well-established, with Newpark Comprehensive School and the Church of the Guardian Angels among its landmarks. The streets between Blackrock and Stillorgan offer a quiet suburban character with good bus connections along the corridor.
