Land Registry Maps for Selling Your Property
When you sell a property in Ireland, your solicitor will need a Land Registry compliant map. We make it fast and straightforward.
Why Do You Need a Map?
When selling a property, your solicitor handles the legal transfer of ownership — known as conveyancing. As part of this process, they need to confirm the exact boundaries of the property being sold.
If your property already has a folio with a clear map on file at Tailte Éireann (the Land Registry), your solicitor may not need a new one. However, many properties — especially older ones or those still on the Registry of Deeds — don't have a compliant map, and one will need to be prepared.
This is one of the most common reasons for delays in property sales. Getting your map sorted early avoids hold-ups at closing.
What We Provide
- A scaled map prepared on an OSI base to Tailte Éireann standards
- Property boundaries clearly outlined in red
- Delivered by email (PDF) and by post (hard copy)
- OSI map licence fee included in the price
- Guaranteed acceptance — free revisions if anything needs adjusting
The Process
Email us your property address, Eircode, and folio number (if you have one). We'll confirm the details and prepare your map within 3–5 working days. If your solicitor has specific requirements, let us know and we'll accommodate them.
